Amazon Web Services’ Startup Business Development team ran a global fellowship program for venture backed CTOs but was limited by existing internal tooling. We developed operational infrastructure to uplevel team operations — including CRM Management, customer experience tracking, application updates, communication templates, and an improved booking process for office hours hosted by external team members for customers.

Hampton’s membership community for high-growth startup founders was scaling quickly, growing from 500 members to more than 1,000, and they needed systems to support that growth. We revised all onboarding communications, set up data and feedback analysis systems to track member experience and triage issues, developed surveys for touchpoints along the customer journey, and developed renewal processes including a failed payment triage process.
Community Operations for ON DECK
On Deck hosted a weekly virtual speaker series for it’s community of over 2,000 startup founders. We launched a revised speaker outreach and booking system and a repeatable run-of-show process that minimized hands-on planning time per event — freeing up team member time, improving the external speaker experience, and creating a consistent and quality content offering for community members.
